![]() The game won't advise you at all on that one, other than to waypoint marker you're on your own to deal with the pirate cruiser. When you destroy the base on the planet, you'd get one final objective to stop the pirate flagship, and a final marker to show you where to find it. It's on a planet, and there's a hidden achievement for destroying the base without letting your Engineer touch the planet's gravity sphere. When you think you are ready, you can use the jump drive and start heading towards the pirate station. You're pretty much free to do whatever you want at that point - collect resources, play around with the other ships and platforms you've been lead to, or whatever you want. You'll get a couple of tasks related to that (jump a certain distance, jump to a hidden base.) Then you'll get a waypoint for a pirate station a *long* way away, and no other real guidance beyond "You should go do something about the pirates." The breadcrumb trail is actually mostly leading you towards a blue ship with a jump drive. Such as by using a remotely piloted fighter drone, or even just strapping engines, batteries and a few gyros to a giant block of armor and slamming that into it like a giant flyswatter. They also couldn't really give you the waypoint to the next task, since it's possible to destroy the station without your Engineer going anywhere near it. There's not really a way they could add any tasks related to the station itself though, since depending on how the player attacks it there might not even be anything left. And once you've done it, you can do whatever you want with anything left. I'm not sure, but I think the intent is that you are presented with the station to disable / destroy, and then basically just left to figure out how you want to do it. But no other beacons will appear from that location. The task can be completed, and it will remove the listing from the HUD when you've finished it. If it helps: The task to destroy the drone station doesn't activate any other tasks, it's a kind of "dead end" on the breadcrumb trail. I've taken apart the whole thing and yet I got no new mission, if any. Collect parts as loot.) * Relative dampers are your friend. (Find the Remote Control block, grind until drone stops twitching. ![]() I don't know if it is armed or not, I risked flying at the drone without a ship, managed to get behind it and was able to take it out with the hand grinder. ![]() The enemy drone also has a warhead hidden in it. The best tactic seems to be to strafe from side to side while also using the up (spacebar) and down (C for me) keys and keep changing direction constantly. Enemy turrets will also lead their targets if you fly in straight lines. Small grid weapons will tear them apart, and against Large Grid weapons you're basically flying into a wood chipper. Even if they are made of Heavy Armor blocks. Originally posted by EmberStar:Small grid ships have the hit points of old cheese. There's the task to finish welding a ship by hand, another that shows how to "print" a ship using ship welders and a projector, and a nearly complete drone you can control. There's several ships in the scenario you can choose from though, including a drone of your own that you can copy. ![]() Small grid ships have the hit points of old cheese.
